1966 ......

A broken hearted woman, Animah, left Indonesia for India in 1957 after her boyfriend left her for another woman. It was her sister, whose husband was posted in New Delhi as Defense Attaché, who asked Animah to go along with her and her family to the country where her ancestors came from.

One day she was introduced to Mr. Slamet, the assistant of the Defense Attaché, a quiet and handsome Javanese guy. Then the two met each other quite a lot and there was something growing between these two people. Yes ... it was love. Animah & Slamet made vows at Taj Mahal, built by a Mongul emperor named Sahah Jahan, for his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
After they returned to Indonesia, they got married in Jakarta in 1962. A lot of people wondered whether these two could get along well. Animah came from a quite wealthy family in Medan and she was a hard, stubborn woman with a beautiful smile. Slamet came from a simple farmer family in Purwokerto and he was a patient, quiet and understanding man with a friendly look. But it was their love that made their relationship stronger. Four year they had to wait before they could call themselves parents. In 1966 Animah brought a baby girl, Rina, to this world. Rina is a mixed product of two beautiful people ..... stubborn, lovely, patient, hard, friendly and course beatiful ;-)
Rina is not the only product, there are also Anto, DIni and Shanti. We are the ones who will keep Animah and Slamet's love going on living so that their grandchildren: Haykel, Nadya, Zalfa, Alia, Aila, Farel and few other come (heheh) still can remember them not of what they were but of who they were.
